I got the job! Interview this morning, offer 15 minutes ago, paperwork at 5, start mid January. Yay!

They were especially interested in the MoC site, and liked it more than the commercial sites I'd worked on. They also said that they needed a communicator; apparently that's me.

Edit: No, not the newscaster job, a regular programming gig.

Today while I was down in the webcafe printing a letter, I took a quick look at my sites and discovered IE was mangling them. I spent some time down there figuring out how to get IE to render them properly. Now hopefully they should look right ( Read more... )

Have another look. I've been stuffing around for the last couple of days, learning how to animate gifs; so now the URL only appears every 20 seconds or so. Hopefully this is unobtrusive enough that somebody would actually consider using them ( Read more... )
